What is Hackathon?

The word “Hackathon” gets its meaning from “Hack” and “Marathon”. A group of young developers, designers and entrepreneurs gather and collaborate to develop their concept by writing NEW code, and have 47 hours – between 28 February and 2 March – to create a prototype ready for presentation of a new product.
